If you see savings accumulating in the green "Saving Statistics" card in the main screen of the app, then go into the “direct debit settings” section of your profile and:

  • If the mandate is “inactive”, make sure that the bank account you've inserted actually supports SEPA direct debits. If it does, make sure that the information you have entered is the same information your bank account has, otherwise the bank will reject it. Always Confirm the mandate before leaving the page.
  • If the mandate is “active”, then it could be that you didn’t have enough money in your bank account when we tried to move it into your digital savings account. If you feel like you’re saving too much, click on the “Saving Statistics” card in the main screen of the app to find out which Steps are creating the most savings, then amend your Steps accordingly through the grey “Steps” card to the right of the green card. 

If you don't see any savings accumulating in the green "Saving Statistics" card in the main screen of the app, then it's probably because you haven't activated the right Steps.
