During the sign-up process, we will ask you to insert your bank details twice:

  1. To synchronise your transactions in the app: We will ask you to select your bank (or independent credit card provider) and login with your online banking credentials so we can synchronise your transactions in the app. This is not mandatory, but will enable us to give you interesting insights on your spending habits and will enable you to activate saving Steps based on these.
  2. To be able to transfer your savings automatically: We will then ask you to insert your IBAN (or account number and sort code if you’re in the UK) in order to create the SEPA direct debit which will enable us to shift your savings into your digital savings account automatically every week. This is mandatory.
